How long does it take for my site
to be listed in the Elite Answers Directory?
The speed at which your submission is reviewed depends upon the volume of other
sites that have applied. Many sites from around the globe apply to be included in
the directory and while our reviewers work tirelessly it may take up to 2-3 weeks
or more for your site to be reviewed. While the Elite Answers Directory spans a
vast amount of content, we care a great deal about the quality of the directory,
and pride ourselves on being highly selective We take the time to carefully review
each and every site submitted into our directory. We don't accept all sites, so
please don't take it personally should your site not be accepted (.you can always
reapply again later). Our goal is to make the directory as useful as possible for
our users, not to have the directory include all (or even most) of the sites that
could possibly be listed.
Is there an express submit service
that will let me get listed quicker?

What are some of the main criteria
I should keep in mind when submitting my site?
The specific expert site reviewer will determine your sites acceptance into the
database, however there are some key points you should keep in mind:
DO:
Find the most appropriate category for your site.
Make sure the site is working and online 24/7.
Make sure all the links on your site are valid
Enter the site’s name as the title
Describe what the site offers, not the business.
Use proper sentences and good grammar.
Write the description in English
Submit the shortest working URL (Example: http://www.EliteAnswers.com Include the http:// and www. if
applicable.)
Proof read everything before submitting it
DO NOT:
Do not submit affiliate, MLM, or link farm sites
Do not submit sites that offer pirated content (ie. warez)
Do not submit sites with objectionable content or that link to any site with objectionable
content. This includes, but is not limited to pornography, hate sites, sites that
promote violence, or anything that violates individuals privacy.
Do not submit sites that offer only one page
Do not fill in your site title or description with a list of keywords (ie. keyword
spam)
Do not write words in all capital letters, use subjective words or phrases (cool,
the best, greatest, #1), or use exclamation points in the title or description.
Do not submit a site that redirects to another site
Do not submit a site with only password protected content
Do not submit the same site with more than one URL
Do not submit the same URL before hearing a response from your initial application
How long after I'm approved will
my listing appear in the directory and search results?
Once approved, your listing will appear instantly. Upon approval you will receive
a notification email informing you of your acceptance into the Elite Answers Directory.
At that point you can browse the directory and you will be able to see your site.
Before you appear in the search results you will need to add keywords to your listing
by logging into Webmaster Central.
What is an Elite ID?
An Elite ID is your passport on the Elite Answers Network. With it you can manage
your Elite Sites listed in the web directory, join online clubs, create an expert
page, setup a My Elite Answers homepage, use Elite Mail, create a business account,
and more. You need to have an Elite ID (which is free to create) in order to submit
and manage a site in the Elite Answers Directory.
Does displaying the Elite Site Seal
improve my chances of being accepted?
Whether you choose to display the Elite Site Seal or not is entirely up to you.
Choosing not to display it will not disqualify your application, however, most site
reviewers do prefer sites that are willing to display the seal. As such, it is strongly
recommended that you display the seal, but not mandatory by any means.
I have multiple sites, can I submit them all?
Absolutely! As long as each site offers unique content that would be valuable to
Elite Answers users. If you have sites that are exactly the same (or serve as affiliates
for your main site) then they will not be accepted. If, however, you are the webmaster/owner
of several sites that each deserve to be included, then you will not be restricted
to just one listing. Furthermore, all of your Elite Site accounts can be linked
together and managed with just one Elite ID.
What happens if I submit the same
URL more than once?
Often times people submit the exact same site multiple times before receiving any
sort of response from their initial application. When this happens you slow down
the entire process for everyone else. As such, our system detects multiple submissions
and deems it to be a spamming of our system. When this happens all of your applications
are automatically deleted. We apologize if this sounds harsh, but we have had some
webmasters apply 100+ times with the exact same site information and URL in a matters
of hours.
Can I call you to find out the
status of my application?
While we are happy to help you in every way possible, getting thousands of phone
calls daily asking "What's the status of my application" drives our phone
operators absolutely crazy (and we like them, so we don't want to do that!). If
you do want to inquire about the status of your application, please submit a support ticket. Please wait an appropriate amount of time before contacting us.
